Samantha Shae

Samantha Shae, originally from Bowie, Maryland, began her dance training at The Dance Institute of Washington at thirteen. She attended Suitland Visual and Performing Arts High School for two years before earning her High School Diploma at The Baltimore School for the Arts under Norma Pera. Samantha received scholarships to attend The Ailey School for three summers and trained with The Dance Theatre of Harlem Residency Program under Arthur Mitchell.

She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance and Choreography from Virginia Commonwealth University, performing works by choreographers such as Fabian Barnes, Ralph Glenmore, Carlos Dos Santos, Autumn Proctor, and Christian von Howard.

With ten years of teaching experience, Samantha served as a full-time dance educator for Prince George's County Public Schools in Maryland for four years. She continues to teach dance technique at The Dance Institute of Washington, The Washington Ballet, and Joy Of Motion Dance Center. Samantha is an active member of The Collectif Project Dance Company for six years and danced with All Hail The Creatives in 2023 at The Reach at Kennedy Center. Samantha now serves as the Production Manager for All Hail The Creatives in her second season with the company.
